Info regarding the impact of weather conditions on Tuska Sunday – Gates Open Normally at 2:00 PM

Today, Sunday, the Helsinki area is expected to experience strong, gusty winds in places. We have been monitoring the situation relentlessly, and with the help of consultations with meteorologists and experts, we have concluded that it is safe to open Tuska’s gates as planned at 2:00 PM.

Preparations for the wind gusts have been made by removing elements and structures susceptible to wind from the festival area, such as stage side screens and fence fabrics, decorations, and by adding weights and supports. Stage side screens will be brought back into use during the day, if possible. The festival production team has been taking measures throughout the night to bring the festival area into a safe condition for opening, in accordance with the weather conditions. We monitor the situation constantly, so follow Tuska’s channels for any possible updates.

On Sunday, the festival area will also host Tiny Tuska. Children (0-12 years old) are welcome to experience the festival atmosphere with a ticketed adult between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Please remember to protect children’s hearing.
