About Us

Tuska Festival is one of the largest metal music events in the Nordic countries, bringing together fans of heavy music over the course of three days. The event has been organized since 1998, and Suvilahti has served as its home venue since 2011.
TUSKA’S MISSION & VISION
Tuska’s mission is to create a gathering place for our community — a place everyone has a reason to come to, and to return to again and again.
Tuska’s vision is to develop a destination within the metal scene that everyone should experience at least once.
Tuska’s Values
Celebration of Metal
We honor the music, the passion, the lifestyle, and the culture that are essential to us and our audience — values we’ve cherished together for over 25 years. We do things on our own terms, always with a spark in our eye. We stand proudly on our own feet, loyal to the roots of the scene, its diversity, and the rebellious spirit that drives it forward.
Community
Tuska is a community where every voice is valued, regardless of background or identity. Our diversity makes us stronger, and it also requires us to treat one another with respect and dignity. We do not tolerate discrimination in any form. Our community is built on a shared passion: if you fall in the mosh pit, you can be sure that those around you will help you back up. We create a safe festival environment for all, where you are welcome as you are — or as you want to be!
Evolution
We are hungry and committed to organizing our festival better and more responsibly each year. We strive to evolve and ride the crest of the wave. With our finger on the pulse of the scene, we listen to our audience and stakeholders, and continuously challenge traditional ways of doing things. Together, we make the metal scene’s ultimate destination a reality.
