Tuska 2026 announces more artists: the sharpest of Finnish metal, international ragga metal, and other genre-defying heaviness

– New additions: Amorphis, Tarot, Skindred, Awake Again, Omnivortex, Nenerchy, Lunarsea and Tuska KVLT –acts Ashes of Perishing, JellyDixx, Scythe of Sorrow, Despiser, Dying Reverie, Shere Khan, NITRIK and Suicide Chain

Taking over Suvilahti once again on the final weekend of June, Tuska Festival has unveiled another batch of heavy-hitting additions, further strengthening what is already Finland’s most diverse metal offering for next summer. 

New additions for all festival days 
Friday at Tuska welcomes Skindred, the ragga metal collective formed in Wales in 1998, blending metal, reggae, punk, hip hop, and electronic music; Awake Again, a post-hardcore band fearlessly fusing various metal subgenres with pop elements; genre-defying Nenerchy, operating at the crossroads of rap, rock, and drum’n’bass; and Italian progressive melodic death metal outfit Lunarsea. 

Saturday’s lineup is bolstered by Omnivortex, a Helsinki underground-bred act combining technical death metal with black metal. 

Tuska Sunday sees the addition of an absolute cornerstone of Finnish metal, Amorphis, who recently released their acclaimed new album “Borderland”, as well as true trailblazers of Finnish heavy metal, Tarot, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their debut album “The Spell of Iron”, a cornerstone of the national metal canon. 

Tuska KVLT bands 
In addition, eight bands have been added to the lineup after earning their spots through participation in the Tuska KVLT community last summer. The Tuska KVLT bands for summer 2026 are: modern metalcore up-and-comers Ashes of Perishing; hard rock regiment JellyDixx; melodic death metal force Scythe Of Sorrow; heralds of the new wave of Oulu metal Despiser; melodic death metal act Dying Reverie; Shere Khan who combine hedonistic hard rock with emotional metalcore; thrash assault NITRIK; and Suicide Chain who deliver hard rock driven by the power of groove metal.

The show days of both The Plot In You and 802 have been moved to Saturday.
