About Us

The Tuska Festival is on of the largest metal music events in the Nordic countries, bringing together fans of heavy music over three days. The event has been organized since 1998, and Suvilahti has been its venue since 2011.

Tuska’s mission is to showcase a diverse range of heavy music artists, considering various genres and different stages of artists’ careers. Tuska provides a platform for both established stars and emerging talents, fostering new music. Many of the global music stars of today have perfomed on Tuska Festival’s stages!

In addition to the music program, Tuska consistently expands the visibility of its talk program, art, and small entrepreneurship. The talk program addresses critical topics such as mental health, equality, and the impact of artificial intelligence. Tuska Expo showcases art and craftsmanship, providing a platform for micro- and small businesses at a major event. The Tuska Sideshow program emphasizes cultural diversity, well-being, and body positivity.

Tuska is committed to continuous learning, diversification, and sustainable development through its work in responsibility and impact with partners such as Ekokompassi, Tapahtumateollisuus ry, Yourope, MaRa (Finnish Hospitality Association), and collaboration with LiveFIN ry (Live Music Finland).
