CATALONIAN ALTERNATIVE METAL SQUAD ANKOR TO HELSINKI IN MARCH

Ankor from Catalonia have recently been making big waves with their refreshing take on alternative metal. This was verified this past summer at Tuska 2024 where the band took Suvilahti by storm and now we get to witness this at On The Rocks on the 8th of March. 

The backbone of the band, guitarists David Romeu and Fito Martinez along with bass player Julio López, founded Ankor when they were mere teenagers in a small village near Barcelona. Since then, the line-up has been completed by English vocalist Jessie Williams and Greek drum prodigy Eleni Nota, and the band’s recent form has been convincing, to say the least. Ankor’s latest release is the hard-hitting ”Embers” ep.

The second band on the bill will be the American Conquer Divide, who were featured on the Electric Callboy hit song “Fuckboi”.

Ticket sales for the shows start at Tiketti on Wednesday 25.9.2024 at 17:00.
