EIVØR TO THE HOUSE OF CULTURE IN HELSINKI IN MARCH 2027

One of the most prominent names in the northern music scene, Eivør, will perform at Helsinki’s Kulttuuritalo on 24.3.2027. This Faroese artist extraordinare is a visionary who seamlessly blends ancient tradition with a contemporary soundscape. Her music is deeply influenced by her upbringing; the stark, powerful landscapes of the Faroe Islands and a strong local communal tradition in which music serves both as ritual and as part of everyday life.

Over the course of eleven studio albums, Eivør has combined Nordic folk, cinematic composition, and modern production in her work. In addition to her solo music, she is also known for her compositions for film, television, and video games, featured in productions such as The Last Kingdom and God of War.

The concert will be opened by American folk artist Rabbitology.
