BLOODRED HOURGLASS

Straight out of Mikkeli, Bloodred Hourglass (also known as BRHG) crafts melodic death metal with such finesse that the band now ranks firmly among the frontrunners of the Finnish metal scene.

Formed in 2005, BRHG has released a string of full-length studio albums: “Lifebound” (2012), “Where the Oceans Burn” (2015), “Heal” (2017), “Godsend” (2019), “Your Highness” (2021), and “How’s the Heart?” (2023). Their seventh album, “We Should Be Buried Like This”, is set to be released in early October and if the singles are anything to go by, expectations are running more than high.

Since the release of “Your Highness”, BRHG has shifted from pure melodeath toward a more modern sound, incorporating influences from metalcore and alternative metal, as well as introducing clean vocals for the first time in their career.

The BRHG machine runs with undeniable fierceness. This is Grade-A Finnish metal at its finest.
