D-A-D

The Danish hard rock legend D-A-D (originally Disneyland After Dark) was formed in Copenhagen in 1982. The band gained fame in the 1980s and 1990s for its unique blend of hard rock and punk, as well as its humorous and energetic performances. Under legal pressures, the band was forced to shorten its name, eventually settling on the form D-A-D.

D-A-D’s breakthrough album “No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims” (1989) featured the mega-hit “Sleeping My Day Away”, which brought the band into the collective consciousness of the music world. The lineup has remained nearly unchanged over the years: Jesper Binzer (vocals, guitar), Jacob Binzer (guitar), Stig Pedersen (bass), and Laust Sonne (drums, since 1999).

Throughout their career, D-A-D has been a hard-hitting, always current and original rock act, appreciated and unreservedly loved in Finland. Known as frequent visitors to Finland, the Danes will finally get to show the Tuska crowd how hard they do it Copenhagen-style.
