Canada’s Danko Jones is one of the most reliable live acts in modern hard rock. Formed in Toronto in 1996, the trio is renowned for its inexhaustible energy, instantly catchy choruses, and, above all, its no-frills, straight forward rock ’n’ roll. Danko Jones combines the heavy riffs of hard rock, the raw energy of punk rock, and the irresistible groove of classic rock.
The lineup of vocalist-guitarist Danko Jones, bassist John “JC” Calabrese, and drummer Rich Knox has built its reputation primarily on the live stage. Having toured the world for nearly three decades, the band has earned a reputation as a sweat-soaked rock machine of the highest order. In Finland, too, Danko Jones has been packing rock clubs to capacity ever since their first Finnish shows in the early years of the new millennium.
With twelve studio albums to their name, Danko Jones’ catalog includes numerous fan favorites and crowd-pleasing anthems such as First Date, Had Enough, Code of the Road, and Lovercall.
