TUSKA 2022 ATTENDEE SURVEY: 97 % CONSIDERED THE FESTIVAL TO BE EITHER GOOD OR VERY GOOD

The people have spoken.

Tuska attendee survey 2022 has now been finalized. Here are a few pointers of the most interesting results.

According to the survey, most people, which is almost 80% of the respondents, came to the festival (surprise, surprise) because of a specific artist. 67% came because of the event atmosphere, 45% came to meet their friends and 35% just because it’s become a tradition.

What about the location? Up to 96% of the respondents claimed that Suvilahti’s urban environment is a suitable place for Tuska.

Improvement feedback consisted mainly of payment options, markings of the recycling points and wristband exchange, which all will be considered later down the line when planning the future festivals.

Finally, the main point: altogether 97% of the respondents considered Tuska to be either a good or very good event. Up to 95 % consider attending next year’s Tuska. Something has been done right, it seems.

– 52% came to Tuska by train
– 68% came to Tuska with friends
– 59% of the respondents have an academic degree
– 95% of the respondents consider conservation of the environment important.

The survey was conducted by Sponsor Insight Finland and altogether 4,084 event attendees responded.
