TUSKA 2023: VV AND IN FLAMES FILLED THE SUVILAHTI FIELD TO THE BRIM

Tuska Saturday was celebrated in typically versatile Finnish summer weather. The headliner VV concluded the day in beautiful fashion with his nostalgic yet modern show. Melodic death metal pioneers In Flames wrapped Suvilahti around their little finger and the American Motionless In White gathered perhaps the most fanatical audience of the day.

Other acts lifting the atmosphere were the energetic and entertaining Turmion Kätilöt, the Swedish and lively Orbit Culture, the domestic troll troops Finntroll, the long-awaited Butcher Babies, the Danish new-generation death metallers Nakkeknækker, and the body artist Nes Tiffany, from Tuska’s excellent side show, evoked strong emotions with her performance.

One more day of metal goodness in the form of the third Tuska day still to come!
