TUSKA 2024: FIRST ARTISTS – BRING ME THE HORIZON, AMORPHIS, OPETH AND MORE

Tuska festival, taking place at Suvilahti, Helsinki during 28.–30.6.2024 has announced the first bands of the 2024 line up. Bring Me The Horizon from Sheffield, England is the first of the Tuska 2024 headliners. BMTH (as the name is often abbreviated) is undoubtedly one of the hottest live bands of the moment. The band, which started in the deathcore realm in 2004, today rather fits under the banner of alternative metal with its wide array of influences.

Bring Me The Horizon is known for following its own path, in a musical sense and beyond. The band has never conformed to the molds and norms of metal bands, but rather created its own stylistic direction and greatly influenced the development of modern metal.

Other confirmed acts for the 2024 festival are Finland’s no. 1 metal band Amorphis, Sweden’s progressive metal royals Opeth, twistedly brilliant Finns Stam1na, Scottish pirate patrol Alestorm, Denmark’s metal/prog phenomenon Vola, Australian modern party metal act Voyager, Polish bona fide progressive giants Riverside, Finland’s Bloodred Hourglass, international power metal storm Angus McSix, British melodic metalcore group Bury Tomorrow, Australian metalcore machine Make Them Suffer, Moldovan modern power house Infected Rain, Norway’s alternative metal up-and-comers Fixation and power metal greats Brothers Of Metal from Sweden.
