Tuska 2027: Heavy Metal Icons Judas Priest Confirmed as Headliner

We’ve barely recovered from the previous edition, and Tuska’s lineup for summer 2027 is already shaping up so impressively that it’s hard to ask for more. Completing the festival’s headliner roster is one of the world’s most beloved heavy metal acts, Judas Priest. The other 2027 headliners, Lorna Shore and Children Of Bodom, had already been announced earlier. 
 
Formed in Birmingham, England, in 1969 and fronted by Rob Halford, Judas Priest has produced countless heavy metal classics over the years, including landmark albums such as “British Steel,” “Screaming for Vengeance,” and “Painkiller.” These records feature universally recognized hits such as “Breaking the Law,” “Living After Midnight,” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’.” The band’s most recent release is “Invincible Shield,” released a couple of years ago and marking their 19th studio album. More than five decades after their formation, Judas Priest continues to stand on the top of the metal world, spreading their uncompromising heavy metal message with no end in sight. 
 
New additions from Metalcore to Hard Rock and Hardcore 
Additional new artists to next summer’s Tuska include American metalcore powerhouse The Devil Wears Prada, Manchester-based hardcore outfit Guilt Trip, power metal legends Stratovarius, who will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their break-through album “Visions,” the immensely entertaining Canadian hard rock trio Danko Jones, Swedish modern rock sensation Smash Into Pieces, and Britain’s Green Lung, whose sound draws from the UK’s rich musical heritage while blending dark hard rock, progressive rock, and psychedelia.
