TUSKALIVE: APOCALYPTIC FOLK LEGEND CURRENT 93 TO ESPOO CULTURAL CENTER IN OCTOBER

Unforgettable moments will be experienced in the Espoo Cultural Center on October 1, 2024, when the legendary English, experimental folk band Current 93 performs in Tapiolasal.

Piloted by David Tibet, Current 93 paints with a broad brush: the industrial tones of early production were joined by a more organic touch and folk music nuances, creating a musical style that has become known as apocalyptic folk.

Lyrically Current 93 moves within the realms of religious experiences and apocalyptic themes.

Current 93 has released more than 20 albums in their exstensive career that started in 1982, most recently the great “If A City Is Set Upon A Hill” released in 2023.
