PRESTIGE
Prestige from Tampere is one of Finland’s true thrash metal pioneers. Jan “Örkki” Yrlund and his crew were wielding their proverbial thrash sabers as early as 1987 and during the next few years, Prestige released three albums and played a ton of shows, before retiring for a break in 1992 that turned out to be slightly longer.
Today, Prestige is in the shape of their lives: the latest album “Reveal The Ravage” published by Massacre Records, is a solid package of life-flavored thrash anthems. Prestige is constantly touring internationally below the radar of the mainstream, spreading the gospel of Finnish thrash metal.
