RIVERSIDE
Founded in Warsaw, Poland, in 2001, Riverside is one of the bona fide giants of the progressive scene. The band’s latest release, the incredibly fine “Identity” album once again masterfully combines atmospheric rock and metal in a manner that Riverside fans have become accustomed to over the years.
Riverside went through a tragedy of the worst kind when one of the band’s founding members, guitarist Piotr Grudziński, suddenly passed away in 2016 due to illness. The other band members decided to keep the Riverside machine running, first with session guitarists and later on Maciej Meller established himself as a permanent member of the band.
Somehow, Riverside has never performed in Tuska. Fortunately, summer 2024 will correct this glitch in the matrix!
