Warmen
Originally started as a side project by COB keyboard wizard Janne Wirman, Warmen has gone through a serious reboot. While Antti “Warman” Wirman is still wielding the axe, with Jyri Helko dominating the low end on bass, the big changes came behind the drum kit and upfront. The drum throne is now occupied by Seppo Tarvainen (Daniel Lioneye, Church of the Dead, Wretched Path), and longtime scene veteran Petri Lindroos (Ensiferum, Norther) joined as the band’s first permanent vocalist and second guitarist.
The revamped lineup dropped their comeback album “Here for None” in August 2023, earning plenty of praise and solid chart positions. Once things were rolling, there was no hitting the brakes or turning back. With a new lineup and new life situations, Warmen has grown into a heavier, angrier, and faster metal band. Their latest album, the steamroller of a record “Band of Brothers”, came out in August 2025.
