TUSKA 2023: THESE ARE THE TUSKA KVLT BANDS OF SUMMER 2023

Arranged this summer on June 30th – 2nd July in Suvilahti, Helsinki, Tuska has announced seven rising Finnish bands to their line-up which will take over the Tuska KVLT Stage during the festival weekend. The bands secured their show slot by taking part in Tuska KVLT community work during last summer’s festival. More additions to the Tuska line-up will be announced later.

This summer’s Tuska KVLT bands are the messengers of modern metal Slash The Smile, folk-influenced black metal band Kouta, groovy thrash metal squad Nervebreak, hard rock, heavy metal and grunge powerhouse Angles Mortis, metalcore band Irrational Cause which will release their debut album in June, retro video game influenced death metal group Vansidian and progressive metal engine Kúru

“Last summer’s Tuska KVLT community work was my first experience in organizing events. It was fantastic to work together with an amazing group of people for a common and important cause. By working in KVLT I was able to find work in the event industry for the rest of the summer and autumn so the experience was all in all very rewarding and useful. All the more, this summer we’ll get to play in Tuska”, celebrates bassist Arttu Pentikäinen of the band Kouta.

The Tuska KVLT recruitment process for 2023 is currently on. The search is also on for new bands to play Tuska KVLT Stage in 2024. The show slot on the festival stage will be secured when all band members have taken part in Tuska KVLT community work this year.
