TUSKA KVLT – CREATING TUSKA TOGETHER!

Tuska KVLT community is a tribe where enthusiasts of festivals, metal music, and metal culture come together. As part of the Tuska KVLT community, you have the opportunity to play a significant role in bringing the festival to life, meet new people, and gain unforgettable experiences. Tuska KVLT exists so that new phenomenons in metal music and culture have room to grow and develop.

You don’t have to be a festival guru to participate – you just need to be at least 18 years old and have a metal attitude! Orientation is provided for all tasks. No salary or other compensation will be paid for the Tuska KVLT activities.

TUSKA KVLT STAGE 2025 BAND SEARCH HAS CLOSED

We received a tremendous number of applications, and the spots for the Tuska KVLT Stage band search were filled by the first eight registered bands. Thank you to all applicants, the next band search will open in the spring of 2026!


What is the Tuska KVLT Stage band search all about? By participating as a whole band in the summer’s Tuska KVLT activities, you can secure a slot for your band on the next year’s Tuska KVLT Stage!

The benefits of Tuska KVLT members also apply to those who participate in the band search.

TUSKA KVLT TEAMS AND TASKS

Tuska KVLT experience provides an opportunity to see all aspects of festival production through guided tasks and free time at the festival! Guided Tuska KVLT tasks are available a week before the festival, during the festival, and two days after the festival. KVLT tasks are carried out under the guidance of industry professionals.

During your free time at the festival, we hope that you inform the Tuska KVLT Coordinators if you encounter any kind of questionable behavior on the festival site. This way, we can collectively ensure the safety of the event while enjoying the festivities.

AREA SETUP AND DEMOLITION

During area setup, you’ll be part of the KVLT teams that create the festive atmosphere for the Tuska weekend. During area demolition, you’ll ensure that Suvilahti is left in a spotless condition after the festival. Activities during setup and demolition take place before and after the festival.

INFRA TEAM
Creating Tuska – that’s what the infrastructure team’s role is all about. During setup, your tasks include fencing the area, attaching signs, and setting up furniture. During demolition, your task is to ensure that various structures and furniture are packed up and stored for future years.

DECØRATION TEAM
In the decoration team, you’ll leave your mark on the festival’s visual appearance, transforming the festival grounds from their everyday look into a festive metal ambiance. Installing site art and decorations is the responsibility of the decoration team. During demolition, the team ensures that decorations are stored for future years.

RECYCLING TEAM
During area setup, the recycling team will ensure that waste management during the festival runs smoothly. Your task is to place recycling bins in their correct locations across the festival grounds, making festivalgoers’ recycling as seamless as a dance – or more like moshing. During area demolition, the team ensures that Suvilahti is left spotless after the festival. Mother Earth rejoices!

CUSTOMER SERVICE TASKS AT THE FESTIVAL

During the festival, KVLT tasks are focused on customer service. Tuska KVLT is a visible part of the festival, offering festival guests a unique event experience. A calm approach to tasks is a valuable asset for customer service teams. Activities in these teams mainly take place during the festival weekend.

WRISTBAND EXCHANGE TEAM
At Redi’s wristband exchange point, you are the first contact between the customer and Tuska. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that each customer receives the correct wristband for the right day. With a positive customer service attitude and attention to detail, you’ll thrive in this team! Team members are needed for wristband pre-exchange during the festival week and for the festival weekend.

BAR & RESTAURANT TEAM
In this team, you’ll assist at the festival’s bars and restaurants, giving you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the festival world. Tasks include customer service, restocking products, and other restaurant maintenance tasks. Team members are not required to have an alcohol or hygiene passport. Activities take place during the festival weekend.

STAFF CATERING
In the staff catering team, you ensure that the festival’s behind-the-scenes crew can enjoy their meals smoothly and in a pleasant environment. Your main tasks include collecting meal tickets and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area. A friendly attitude and organizational skills are key in this team! Activities take place during the festival weekend.

CLOAKROOM SERVICE
In the cloakroom service team, you’ll be responsible for customers’ leather jackets and studded bags, all under professional guidance. A service-oriented and cheerful attitude will serve you well in this team! Activities take place during the festival weekend.

MERCHANDISE TEAM
In the merchandise team, you’ll assist the professional staff who sort and sell the official festival gear and fan merchandise from Tuska’s artists. Tasks include customer service at the counter, sorting, and organizing products. Activities take place during the festival weekend, when the merchandise booth is a popular spot for customers.

RECYCLING TEAM
The recycling team is responsible for keeping the festival area clean, making your role very important. Tasks include bottle collection, and a cheerful attitude combined with a calm approach to your tasks will help create positive encounters with festival visitors. Tuska KVLT ♥ Mother Earth.
