BODY ART
Body art professionals will offer their services in Kattilahalli’s EXPO. Impossible Bodyart’s carefully chosen team has both familiar faces and new acquittances. The team consists of experienced tattoo artist and body piercers, along with a massager with magic hands and a body suspension artist, who turns her rituals into art. A completely new service in the area is Mosh Massage. This year the stiff and sore necks can be treated so that one can mosh at the gigs like there’s no tomorrow.
Tattoos and body piercings are walk-in services and, therefore, the artists take no bookings beforehand. The artists’ portfolios are available on their personal Instagram accounts so one can choose one’s favourite artist to perform their tattoo at the festival. However, the rope and hook suspensions can be prebooked by contacting The Occult Therapy directly or by consulting Impossible Bodyart. The suspensions are also available on the spot, so booking ahead is not mandatory. The contact information for every artist is found on their personal Instagram accounts.
This year, like the last, the Body Art area will have a sideshow program. The program will include ritualistic body suspensions with hooks and ropes that are performed by The Occult Therapy with the help form other members from the team. More classic sideshow art is provided by a freak show artis Nes Tiffany.
