TUSKA 2025: MORE SIDESHOW PROGRAM
In addition to the already announced Body Art area, this year the Tuska festival grounds will also feature witchcraft, exhibitors, and rituals — not to forget art installations throughout the area.
Pagan Fest in Kattilahalli offers the chance to experience witch trials on a smaller scale. You can also put your fate in the hands of witches in the chicken-legged hut of Baba Yaga.
At Tuska Expo in Kattilahalli, the exhibitors’ tables will showcase items like jewelry, literature, headpieces, artwork — and even a barber and a Corpse Paint team.
Artist Ilmari Wärri’s works have been a part of Tuska since 2018: skull landscapes, transparent coffins, giant crosses and small crosses, philosophical reflections, and of course the fan-favorite “guest coffin.”
The Ritual Stage in Kattilahalli gives Tuska visitors a chance to witness various rituals involving dance, suspension, and rope bondage.
Contemporary dance theater Mamia Company will present its multidisciplinary piece Kutoja (“The Weaver”) — where visual art, performance, and dance interweave into a tapestry of time, reality, and dreams.
